The City of Grenoble

Travelling to the city of Grenoble was a snap from Paris.

Subway to Gare De Lyon, Train to Gare de Grenoble, Tram to Bus Stop and Bus to Jakub and Petra’s House. All it took was a bit of time. Approx 4.5 hours and  I was in central France.

It was great to see old friends. To paddle and to get to see Grenoble. There are some fantastic spots to check out around this city. Wandering around the old city streets was fun as a photographer. There was lots of things to see and take photographs of.

One Eye Open

One of the nice things to do was check out the cable car to the Bastille above Grenoble. It was first opened in September 1934. The bastille provided a great view over looking the city and was easy to access.

Grenoble to Bastille Cable Car

We spent a good amount of time kayaking, having variety of wines. I spent a couple of the days that I was there exploring the town. The other highlight of the trip was a visit to ESRF. The European Synchrotron Research Facility was amazing to wander around in and check out. Great for photography. You can check out a large amount of photos I posted here.

Enjoy these shots from Grenoble and surrounding area.
